The Wraith is on display at the Rolls Royce show stand in Geneva alongside the newly unveiled Ghost Series II. Rolls Royce describes the new Wraith as the most technologically advanced car in their history. We are lucky enough to have a delivery miles example in our showroom for sale presented in Diamond Black with Seashell Leather – a must see!
Speaking at the show, Giles Taylor, director of design for the brand describes it as the "art of travel". He went on to say “the Wraith's fastback profile was inspired by the great Grand Tourers of the Fifties and Sixties. It’s a contemporary statement, with a clean shape”. Taylor also explained that the Wraith's length allows it to be more of a "gentlemen’s GT," with a long, gently sloping roofline that provides decent rear headroom and a large boot.
“It's the kind of car that should take a trip across Europe in its stride”, he says, and, like all Rolls-Royces, is about effortless - rather than blisteringly quick - progress. That said, the Wraith is the most powerful Rolls-Royce ever, with a 624bhp V12 engine that makes it good for a 0-60mph time of just 4.4sec.
The Wraith has the most advanced drivetrain in the company’s history. The transmission communicates with the Satellite navigation to forecast the road ahead to select the correct gear for the road. There is even Wireless Car Hotspot to keep you connected when you're on the move. Powered by a 6.6 litre, twin turbo-charged V12 engine, with a clamed speed of 0-60 mph in 4.6 seconds.
