Aston Martin DB4 GT

Back to Aston Martin

Just 75 GT`s were produced and designed primarily for the racetrack. It was launched in 1959 during the London motor show. The car`s chassis was shortened and lightweight body panels were used in order to save weight. Powered by a 3670 cc straight six engine that was fed by three twin-choke Weber carburettors and a four speed David Brown gearbox gave this car a top speed of some 150 mph when released.

The car we have on offer and was first registered in 1960 with registration `5 SPK`, which is still with the car today. It has led a very active life with its owners all using it for different Aston Martin owners club events. In 2015 the last custodian entrusted the car to Post Vintage (now Adrian Johnsons) whom oversaw a complete body off restoration to restore it back to its original 1960 condition with most of the work undertaken by marque specialist Bodylines, Spraytech and Post Vintage. The car comes with a very comprehensive history file outlining its past racing history and invoices.

This is a rare opportunity to own a stunning rare DB4 GT which do not come to market often especially one with a great  race history and fresh from its restoration.
