The fastest, most powerful, most luxurious SUV in the world” a bold claim made by Bentley when they launched the Bentayga in 2015. The claim is hard to dispute thanks to a new version of its W12 6.0 litre engine with twin-scroll turbos with high and low pressure direct fuel injection, all this means that the 2.4 tonne Bentayga can go from 0 to 60mph in 4 seconds and onto a maximum speed of 187mph.
Bentley have designed and made the Bentayga to be everything you would expect from a SUV, a wide range of colours are available and an interior that can be tailored to anyone’s needs. The name Bentayga was inspired by the rugged peak of the Roque Bentayga in Gran Canaria and means “carried interest” in Swahili.
This car was registered in April 2017 by its only owner, presented in striking Neptune Blue with Magnolia leather interior and finished off with a dark Fiddleback Eucalyptus wood trim. Its full panoramic roof allows lots of light into the luxurious cabin whilst the comfort seats relax the occupants. The rear entertainment system has two 10.2” tablets located on the rear of the front seat headrests, both are mobile giving many features such as video streaming.
This Bentayga also comes with 3 special specifications, Touring, All-Terrain and City. The Touring specification features a head-up display, adaptive cruise control, lane assist, traffic assist and night vision. The All-Terrain specification offers more driving modes such as ‘Snow and Grass’, ‘Mud and Trail’ and ‘Sand’ all of which opens up the capabilities of the Bentayga to go anywhere. The City specification gives the driver more assistance options, these include a top-view camera and park assist, traffic sign recognition, pedestrian warning and reversing traffic warning.
Other extras include 21” 5 twin-spoke diamond cut and black painted alloy wheels, park heater with radio remote control, garage door opener, hands free tailgate, luggage management system, digital radio, Naim premium sound system, electric retractable tow bar, battery charger, Bentley GPS tracking system and Bentley’s new patented ‘event seat’ - a leather trimmed folding seat that turns the rear into a viewing place for any outdoor event.
