The Aston Martin V12 Vanquish S debuted at the 2004 Paris motor show with increased engine power output and some minor styling revisions. The new Vanquish S produced 520 hp allowing the car’s top speed to exceed 200 mph making it Aston Martin fastest production car made at the time, only loosing this title to the One-77 in 2008. The styling changes included a slightly different nose shape, a new raised boot lid with a larger integrated spoiler and the addition of a small front splitter. The car also incorporated a Sports Dynamic Package giving the car stiffer but sportier suspension, steering and brakes.
The production of the V12 Vanquish ended on 19 July 2007, coinciding with the closing of the company's Newport Pagnell factory after 49 years of operation. Despite the high enthusiasm for the Vanquish, the handmade nature of their construction limited production to levels compared with earlier Newport Pagnell cars.
This 2008 Vanquish S in meteorite silver with obsidian black leather interior and contrast silver stitching is the last ‘S’ model built according to the 2011 Aston Martin register. A late dash version with the large sat nav screen, comes in a 2+2 configuration and also includes bluetooth, black brake callipers, heated front screen, platinum and black steering wheel and has full Aston Martin dealership service history. This 2 owner car represents a great opportunity to own a fantastic example of an iconic model, a car that has stamped its presence in the history of Aston Martin.
