Aston Martin V8 EFi

Back to Aston Martin

Considered by V8 enthusiasts to be the easiest to live with and certainly the rarest of the V8 range. Built between 1986 and 1989, the Series 5 V8s were equipped with electronic sequential fuel injection, in preference to carburettors, delivering a smoother and more fuel efficient power package rated at 310bhp.

Fitted with its originally specified, polished rim BBS wheels and factory fitted electric tilt and slide sunroof, in addition to the standard air conditioning and automatic transmission. In total just 59 examples of the V8 Efi coupe were built before production of the AMV8 range ceased in 1989. It was ordered from and supplied by Nicholas Mee in 1986, to a Mrs Parness of Belgravia. This particular car was the first of three Aston Martins owned by this ebullient lady. Used for weekend trips to her country home, the car spent its early years being pampered and polished by her chauffer, prior to changing hands after the arrival of a new V8 Volante.

This late and low mileage example, is as originally built and specified, complete with an unbroken service record from new. Maintained regularly by Aston Martin at Newport Pagnell and Aston Martin agents, the history file is complete with multiple service invoices and continuous MOT certificates, confirming the low mileage covered.
